The Rani Sui Lake Trek, featuring a scenic and adventurous route, offers an exceptional trekking journey through the Manali region of Himachal Pradesh, India. This trek begins from Manali, where the adventure starts with a climb through lush meadows and dense forests.

Trekking via Lama Dugh, trekkers are treated to breathtaking views of alpine landscapes and snow-capped peaks. The path then leads to the serene Rani Sui Lake, perched at an altitude of around 11,150 feet, surrounded by rugged mountains and pristine snowfields. The crystal-clear waters of the lake reflect the towering peaks and pristine glaciers, creating a mesmerizing, mirror-like effect. The serenity of the lake and the surrounding alpine landscape offer a tranquil retreat, where the beauty of the untouched natural environment is palpable.
The trek descends through Duddu Thatch and Khaniyal, revealing diverse landscapes and charming campsites along the way. Duddu Thatch offers picturesque meadows and gentle streams, with a peaceful ambiance enhanced by the gentle rustling of the wind and the chirping of birds. Khaniyal presents a blend of rolling hills and forested areas, providing a contrasting yet equally captivating scenery as trekkers make their way back to Manali. Each segment of the trek presents its own unique visual allure, ensuring that the journey is as enriching for the eyes as it is for the spirit.

What is included in the tour

  • Jalgaon/Bhusawal/Pune/Mumbai to Delhi and Back by 3rd Ac Or 3rd AC Economy Train Tickets whichever is available (Package with Sleeper Train Tickets, 2nd Ac Train Tickets or 1st Ac Train Tickets and Package With Flight Tickets also available with respective extra prices)
  • (Package with Rajdhani Express also available with respective extra prices)
  • Freshen-up Hotel in Delhi after Arrival from respectives cities(4 pax in one room)
  • Delhi to Manali and Manali to Delhi AC Volvo Semi-sleeper bus/Scania Semi-sleeper bus
  • Ride by Tata Sumo or similar Vehicle to Base Village Rumsu on Day 3. 
  •  Ride by Tata Sumo or similar Vehicle from Rumsu to Shegli Base Camp on day 4. 
  •  Accommodation (3 sharing tent) | 2 sharing on extra cost of Rs 1000 per person.
  •  Trek Meals (Breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner from base Village to Hadimba Mata Temple of Trek). We provide simple, nutritious Veg/Jain food( For Jain Food prior intimation is required) on all days of the trek.
  • Note - Food Expenses during Travelling Journey from Jalgaon /Pune /Mumbai/Nasik/Dhule to base village and return from Hadimba Mata Temple to Jalgaon /Pune /Mumbai/Nasik/Dhule are not covered
  •  Rucksack (A 60-liter bag with rain cover is provided for use in trekking. You can deposit your extra luggage with your bags at our campsite). A participant is needed to return the bag at base village after the trek.
  •  Camping charges (All Trekking Permits, forest and camping charges are included)
  •  Trekking equipment (High quality tents, sleeping bags in all the camps, sleeping bags can withstand temperatures as low as -10℃ )
  •  Gaiters (to prevent snow from entering inside your shoe)
  • Microspikes (Helps you walk on hard snow terrain)
  • Wooden stick for trekking
  •  Safety equipment (First aid kit, oxygen cylinders, oximeter, etc. will be with the guide/trek leader and at the campsite as well to deal with emergencies.)
  • Blood Oxygen Saturation and Pulse Check up at Every campsite
  •  Our Expert trek Leaders (All our trek leaders are at least qualified in basic /advanced mountaineering and first aid courses)
  •  Our Expert Trek Support Team (The mountain staff on this trek consists of certified guides, cooks, helpers)

  •  Cloak room at basecamp -Members can keep their extra luggage at base camp

  • Local Transportation of any Kind in Delhi, Manali or any city are not inculded  (Tickets of Metro, Rickshaw, City Buses, Cab and other internal transport are not included etc.)
  •  Backpack offloading charges, porter Charges for carrying luggage, cost of any type of coolie in whole Journey
  •  Any Personal Expenses
  •  Cost of Emergency (Any type of emergency eg. Medical Emergency or Natural Calamities or Manmade Emergency) The Insurance Can be Claimed afterwards according to the respective insurance company's rules
  • Anything that is not mentioned in Inclusions
  •  If by any reason member needs to Descent in between the trek, in that case Guide Charges and vehicle charges are not covered

Things To Carry

 

  • Wet Wipes and Paper Soap
  • Trekking shoes : Carry waterproof trekking shoes with good grip and ankle support. Do not carry sports shoes.
  • Three layers of warm clothes : Carry two or three-layer jackets, fleece jackets and a padded jacket.
  • Two/Three trek pants : Carry quick dry material trek pants and one warm paded trouser. 
  •  Denim/jeans and shorts are not suitable for trekking.
  • Three t-shirts (collared/dri-fit) : Full sleeved t-shirts that prevent sun burns on the neck and arms. Carry one or two dri-fit t-shirts.
  • Thermals : Carry thermals (top and bottom).
  • Sunglasses : Sunglasses are mandatory. Possibly there will be lot of snow on the trek and can cause snow blindness.
  • Cap : At high altitude, the sun is extra harsh so carry a cap to protect yourself.
  • Water proof hand gloves : Carry water proof gloves and avoid woollen gloves as they will get wet if you touch snow.
  • Socks (3-4 pairs) and a pair of woollen socks : Apart from two sports socks, you can take a pair of woollen socks for the night.
  • Headlamp/LED torch : Mandatory
  • Raincoat/Ponchos : At high altitudes, snowfall and rain are quite common and it’s mandatory to carry a poncho so that you don’t get wet. The trek will continue as planned even during rainfall. Your poncho should protect you from the rain. Carry a backpack cover for extra protection from rain for your belongings.
  • Day pack (20 liters): You will need this to carry water bottles, lunch boxes, and personal medical kit in case you decide to offload your backpack.
  • Lunch box and water bottle : Every participant should have their personal lunch box and a water bottle [insulated type].
